Hamilton-Wenham Youth Soccer will be holding our annual travel soccer evaluations for players who are currently in grades 2-7 on Sunday, June 9.
The purpose of the evaluations is to aid in placing the players on teams in the Fall 2019 and Spring 2020 seasons. The evaluation information will be used as supplemental information in conjunction with coach evaluations. Every player will be placed on a team. The fall/spring seasons will be set-up as follows:
Grades 3-4: This age group within ECYSA is listed as G4 which includes both 3rd and 4th graders. Third graders will play on mostly balanced ability teams. Fourth graders will generally play on mostly teams tiered by ability. These teams play in a regional division within Essex County with the goal that they play teams from other towns of similar strength.
Grades 5-6: This age group within ECYSA is listed as G6 which includes both 5th and 6th graders. These players will be placed on tiered teams based on grade first and then ability. The teams will be placed in competitive divisions within Essex County with the goal that they play teams from other towns of similar strength.
Grades 7-8: This age group within ECYSA is listed as G8 which includes both 7th and 8th graders. These players will be placed on tiered teams based on grade first and then ability. The teams will be placed in competitive divisions within Essex County with the goal that they play teams from other towns of similar strength.
Where? All tryouts will be held at Iron Rail Field 7.
Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time for registration. All players should bring a water ball, soccer ball and wear appropriate soccer gear (no uniform needed). IF YOUR CHILD IS PLANNING TO PLAY SOCCER IN FALL 2019 AND/OR SPRING 2020 PLEASE TRY TO HAVE HIM/HER ATTEND.

10-10:45 - Girls 4th/5th Grade
11-11:45 - Boys 6th/7th grade
12-12:45 – Boys 2nd/3rd grade
1-1:45 – Girls 6th/7th grade
2-2:45 – Girls 2nd/3rd grade
