How Do I Register My Child? How Do I Purchase A Uniform?

How Do I Register My Child? HWYSA uses Sports Pilot for online registration. It is designed for one or more parents and players to be included in the family account profile. This makes subsequent registrations quite easy and quick.

Click here to be taken to our Sports Pilot registration site: Sports Pilot Soccer Registration

If this is your first time registering with the Sports Pilot system, you will need to click on [Create a New Account]. Returning users enter their username and password. Please do not create a new account if you have simply forgotten your username or password. Click on the [Forgot User ID or Password] link. Duplicate accounts cause a variety of problems.

Most soccer communication is done via email so make sure to include your correct email address at the time of registration.

For a variety of reasons, we have had problems with parents entering false birth dates when registering their players.  HWYSA now reserves the right to request birth certificates from new players to ensure accuracy.  No refunds will be issued for rejected registrations.

Registration fees:
Intramural: $110
Academy: $135
Travel: $135

Withdrawal refunds are granted only if the request is received by the Registrar at least three weeks prior to the first game of season and subject to a $50 processing fee.

HWYSA is moving to grade-based registration in accordance with Massachusetts Youth Soccer and Essex County Youth Soccer changes. Please make sure you update your child’s grade information when you register. The grade entered should be for the upcoming season (not your child’s current grade).

For more information about the grade-based changes, please review the attached document Download

All players from all age groups are required to wear shin guards and soccer (not baseball) cleats.

Intramural players receive a free t-shirt at their first practice.

Travel players must play in a town uniform.  Our travel league requires a town uniform that must be purchased separately.  You are responsible for ordering a uniform for your player(s) at the link below.  The uniform store is only open (accepting orders) during the Regular (not Wait List) registration window.   If your player has an existing uniform from a prior season and you have confidence it will still fit, you are not required to purchase a new uniform each season.  But please be aware that HWYSA assigns the jersey numbers that players  wear throughout their tenure in the Travel Program.  The use of “hand-me-down” uniforms is discouraged because it often results in duplicate jersey numbers which is not allowed.  If there is any chance you will need a new uniform for the upcoming season – you must order it prior to the registration deadline.  All order fulfillment occurs in the week before the season starts.  You will receive additional information regarding fulfillment at a later date.

Please click the link below to order your uniform from our vendor, Champion’s Choice.   Uniforms will be delivered to the HWYSA Uniform Coordinator a couple of weeks prior to the start of the season.  Any questions, please contact Amy DeSimone at hwysasoccer@gmail.com

PLEASE MAKE SURE TO PUT YOUR CHILD’S LAST NAME ON THE ORDER, NOT YOUR LAST NAME (IF DIFFERENT)

U16 through U19 (Travel) players will choose their own jersey design as a team once the teams are formed.
